Well, i've only spent this evening researching but it would seem that a lot of stuff can be installed with cydia and installer 4. You can search for cydia sources on google and enter the details of the repositories in cydia.

cydia is installed when you jailbreak your phone. which firmware do you got?

I'm seriously contemplating getting one of these things. Do I have to connect it up to a PC for updates?

or a mac

... but not Ubuntu.

And does anyone know of a price drop in the near future? I'm looking at getting the 16gb on a £35 a month contract. But paying £160 is too pricey for me at the moment.
