Sport. You like baseball? Even if you don't, get MLB at bat, 2012 version out tomorrow. Will be lots, worth every penny. Best sports app out there.

I get it for free. Huzzah.

EDIT - turns out everyone gets the basic app for free. Enhanced content will be at extra cost (which i get for free).

I'm a little bit addicted to NFL flick QB. Also got NFL kicker but yet to play it.

Why (and/or how)?

Adlerhorst 01-03-2012 06:48 AM

Why have you started capitalising random nouns like some 18th century fop?

Well, it isn't 'free' is it? You have to pay about £80 for the premium subscription. It's no more 'free' than the Sky Mobile App is free.

Seriously, just awesome.

I don't know if this is the same as the above cos it's blocked at work, but the 2000AD Judge Dredd game is a good laugh (and free I believe)

It's more free than it was last year. Then you had to pay the subcription and another £9 for the app for each mobile platform you had it on. Now I don't have to pay for the app, and I have always had the premium subscription for MLB.tv. That's free in my world.

Also this year people can pay £10.50 and get 180 odd live games. I pay £80 and get a few thousand.

Still it remains comfortably the best sports app out there.

I would get it if we had decent broadband - but at just under 1 meg, it probably wouldn't work very well. Does the At Bat App work on 3g?

With the premium subscription, can you choose any game that's being played - for example could I watch all the Blue Jays games during the season? Many years ago, I used to get one of the BJ's games each week sent to me on VHS.

Any issues with the App on a jailbroken device?

Adlerhorst 01-03-2012 09:04 AM

Never tried it on 3G due to data limits but just swapped to 3 so will let you know.

And yes, any game at all. In HD.

You also get any game with the normal MLB.tv subscription (which is a little bit less than premium) but you have to pay for the app then as well.

Very easy - either go to iTunes on your computer and search for Tunein radio and buy it - or go to the iTunes icon on the first screen of your iPhone 4s and do the same.

Warrior 01-03-2012 10:27 PM

Thanks I found it and installed it.
Is it better than Wunder Radio?

I can't remember every feature, but it is a decent app.

EDIT - it is called 'World Atlas for iPad' but appears to be priced at £1.49 now.

This is free again now...

Yes - much better.

Warrior 02-03-2012 11:41 AM

Thank you, I'm deleting Wunder.

Warrior 03-03-2012 12:41 PM

The Tunein Radio is brilliant.

Thank you for recommending it!
