Correct. It's a shame. MyRailLite is a very good application.

Stavros 69 29-03-2009 07:15 PM

Total bastards.

£5 is a rip off

Highbury Eagle 29-03-2009 07:24 PM

Wankers. Myrail was such a good app as well. £5 is just wrong.

Niceaction 29-03-2009 09:11 PM

I got my Iphone a couple of days after MyRail was taken down, so cannot comment on how good it is/was. However, the National Rail application is very good, and in my opinion is worth £5.

Also, i'll say it again, Flight Control is stupidly addictive even if I am rubbish. Top score of 65 so far.

Just downloaded NetPhoto from the Apps Store. Works really well. It's a shame
the Iphones camera is so poor

What wankers.

Not only do they rip us off with their expensive fares and crap service they won't even let us access timetables for free.

have to agree as a regular commuter this is a essential application for me and works the same as Myrail and the bonus feature on this version is the planned journey times and is worth the £4.99

Kevin T 30-03-2009 12:38 PM

I use iRail and that's not giving me any error message. Not sure if it was free or I paid for it.

Ralph - How long left on your contract and what's your average monthly bill. I got o2 to upgrade me a couple of months early.

fang 30-03-2009 12:49 PM

You take a photo. You can add silly bits (voice bubbles, moustaches etc. ) if you want, and then upload from the phone direct to your facebook/myspace etc. Page.

Well for anyone using Southern rail into London this website is great for updates on train time arrivals, which platform and you can click and see the what times the trains called previous stations (so even though it might say it's on time you can see if it called other stations late so is likely to be late again)

I have just bookmarked each station I use

For East Croydon:
http://www.livedepartureboards.co.uk...dep.aspx?T=ECR

Not sure it's as good as the one that's going but it's free so might be a good alternative

Get Pinball Dreams now

It's a remake of the old Amiga classic and it's fab.

Random* 30-03-2009 10:56 PM

I slightly begrudge them the £5 for the national rail app, but it seems good - I wish it had platform numbers though.

Also, Galcon is a very good game, and only 59p.

Niceaction 30-03-2009 11:07 PM

It shows platform numbers for me!

Nightmare was my favourite table, may be tempted into this :o

Kevin T 31-03-2009 08:50 AM

£3.50 though :(

aaronmax 31-03-2009 09:17 AM

Can anyone tell me the best way to play music from my i-phone in my car? I've no docking station, just a pretty standard CD p[layer/radio

That thing that's supposed to tune into a 'free' FM radio station is useless and annoying but I'm assuming there must be a better way?

James 31-03-2009 11:09 AM

MyRail Lite is still working. Today may be the last day to use it.

I'm really going to miss this app :( :sob: :sob:
To have to pay £4.99 is just so :sob: for something that used to be free.
