You should be able to update your phone to 2.0.

If you want a VOIP client, there's always Truphone...

Dave 13-07-2008 09:56 PM

Nope, no need for VOIP - skype chat is where I spend about one third of my day talking with colleagues around the world.

It's cool because you can chat whilst logged in via multiple machines and is encrypted

Dave 13-07-2008 10:11 PM

zintin looks fun -

Ridcully 13-07-2008 11:00 PM

It doesn't unfortunately.

I love my iPhone. It's my favourite ever piece of gadget related kit.

How does one add feeds to newsnetwire?

You might want to look at Google Reader which has an interface optimised for the Iphone

KingsleY 14-07-2008 12:12 PM

Thats a shame..that would have been the one thing that would have pursuaded me to upgrade to the 3G.
Still waiting to get an unlock for the original iphone for 2.0 firmware!

GibEagle 14-07-2008 12:23 PM

You gotta load a piece of software onto your computer... at least thats what I did until I tried Google reader like Dave suggested!
