As said above, it feels snappier but that may be because:
All of my e-mails have been deleted Apps have been reordered and in some cases, deleted All of my music has been deleted and requires re-syncing |

My back-up is taking forever!!!
|
Just finished the upgrade on an iPhone 3G and haven't lost any personal data, emails or music. Mind you I don't actually see any differences other than integrated email and a crappy zoom on the camera that is no better than plenty of free apps out there. Not sure what else to expect from the upgrade tbh.
Initial thoughts is that the phone is running like a dog. :( |
Wife's upgrade was effortless.
Beginning to suspect I was extremely unlucky and Apple's servers crashed momentarily whilst iTunes was communicating with Cupertino during backup. |

I obliterateed mine at Hillsborough and got a new one on the insurance. Unfortunately they don't give out the 3g anymore so they had to upgrade me to the 3gs ;) |
It still wants to take 5 hours to download......
|
When did Dave become so anti-iPhone?
Downloaded in about 5 minutes for me. The backup/restore process took far too long but then all iTunes related updates always seem to take far too long. Mostly painless though. |
