Its called Battery Doctor, think it was 69p. Had a good rating and what it said it would do was promising. Has a load of other interesting stuff as well.

Anyone know how to change the trend location on the new twitter for iPhone? I'm stuck on global and all you get is a load of Americans saying good night or retweeting shit hastags that Beiber starts.

Fifa 12 - 69p!!!

Don't mind if I do!

If that's the case then fair play to you, my iPhone 4 will be a year old in March.
I arrive at work around 8am with my phone at 100% every morning as I charge it in the evenings.
I don't get either 3G or WiFi at work, have the brightness turned down to slightly below half way, and only really send texts, maybe make a few calls at lunch etc, check my emails and play the odd game here and there.

By the time I get home at say 6:45 it is down to below 40% everyday, there is no way on earth I could charge it just once every 2 days.

That would drive me nuts! My usage is massively more than that yet still only charge the phone every other night. Mrs Blind's 3GS, which admittedly gets far less use than mine, frequently goes three - four days between charges.

Can someone explain the benefits of Jailbreaking to me? Does it invalidate warranties etc?

st albans 29-12-2011 02:52 PM

It's so you can get the finest comic reader going, comic reader mobi. It's banned from the app store so you have to jailbreak to get it (unless you bought before the ban)

RednBlue 30-12-2011 08:49 AM

So no great benefit then...

It's better then it was, but still the app stores lack of trial periods or return policies is scandalous. Taiwan forced them to change, and fair play to them, but it really isn't good enough in the rest of the world.

eaglejez 02-01-2012 06:24 PM

gone with Orange. When I tried to get my PAC off O2 they came up with a better deal. No cooling off period with Orange which is a bit weird in this consumer protected world but I think their coverage is probably better anyway

Anyone else with a 4s having bluetooth troubles?

Mine will not recognise any bluetooth devise. It's forever looking for devices to connect to

Dave 06-01-2012 02:04 PM

No

kolinkins 09-01-2012 01:46 PM

Thanks Dave.

So, I went to Apple and my Jawbone, which has been excellent thus far, didn't work with any iPhone 4s or iPad 2.

Rang Jawbone and they said there will be no software release to fix this.

So now this £60 bit of (excellent) kit is to be wasted!
