Also - I don't think there is a speaker in the 2g model (and no external volume adjustment). I wouldn't be happy with that.

I didn't know there was a 16 gb 2g.
Just heard there may well be a 32gb 3g announced in Jan, so maybe hold off |

heard this as well and apparently the Phone will be smaller in size as well |
I didn't hear that

There are two rumours for January:
1. There will be a 32GB model. 2. There will be an iPhone nano/mini The first one is a case of when, not if, it will happen. Toshiba have only recently started making the 32GB chips required to do this, and no one else is able to do the same, so January may be a bit early. Also expect the 32GB version to be quite a bit more expensive than the existing models. |
I'm not convinced there will be a new form factor
|
I'm not convinced they will announce anything in January - I think that Apple will now continue down the route of announcing everything online as soon as they have it ready to ship.
I do think there will be a new form factor, don't know if it'll be now though. |
can you download a application that lets you forward on messages i can't remember if i have asked this or not

guys i am thinking about picking up a 3g 8gb from my sisters boyfriend, who for some reason now has two. i am currently on O2 PAYG and if i did get an iPhone would obviously need some sort of inclusive data package.
I am therefore researching the O2 simplicity £20 tariff which includes 1000 texts / 600 mins & Unlimited Web Bolt On. The phone is used so I wouldnt have thought I need to register it via iTunes as such. My question is whether if I did get that tariff, would the unlimited data work for 3G as well as GPRS? A friend has a 2G with the same setup and it works fine, but I am thinking it might be different with 3G. Google suggests that everything will work if I used the £20 one, except visual voicemail, which I can give or take. The 3G is pretty important though as you are all aware. It seems that it would work, but I just want to see if anyone has done the same or knows anyone who has done the same as I plan to do. |
Still nothing more than rumours but apparently one of the case manufacturers are listing a case for the iPhone Nano

The natural human desire for having everything more streamlined and efficient is now meeting a fairly major obstruction - evolution lol. Even Apple can't force design that one. |
