Yep, Futera = international kits, only Panini have the Premier League licence to use Palace kits.

Topps can feature those Premier League clubs that are in UEFA competitions (ie for Champions League match attax products)

Crikey, what a collection, bit of everything in there! Luckily, quite modest from a Palace collecting POV, but they've even chucked in a couple of new Prism cards - was the last lot not enough!!

The core of our squad is so old, we don't have any 'rookies'!!

Personally, I was still holding out that me might see the Impeccable collection at some point, but who knows!

Onto real cards, not this modern stuff, and I filled a longstanding gap this week. Have had this one as a saved search on ebay for 20 years.

I have long been on the hunt for 'F167' and I have only ever seen it surface once before, when it sold for a very high price.

The reason it went for so much the one previous time I saw it is the subject matter - it is Manchester United v Crystal Palace, from the days when Man Utd were a 2nd division team, and anything of this age featuring United goes for way more than it would normally otherwise

Luckily (for me) in this instance it was a 'Buy it now' and I got there before anyone else.

The card is a Pattreiouex 1922 'Casket' cigarette card by the way

It's a 5/5 and the seller is asking $179

So say you were to haggle it to $100, there is still $15 postage, plus probably $30 customs on top

It is ridiculous having /5 and 1/1 cards that aren't auto's or (multi) relics (or auto'd relics!) IMO

You'd have to be on Benteke's salary to collect such cards! It's gone stupid, it really has.

Unless you actually buy cases as a dealer or get lucky in breaks then you aren't going to get anything like this!

Some joker is hoping for $60 for a /99 prism from this new series (and that's before $18 shipping!). Overpriced by only about $55!

There are cards for 99 cents, but with $20+ postage!

Really is a pain that these collections are aimed at the U.S. market!
