WeatherPro

There is currently a 7km/h easterly breeze where I am, but that will change to a 9km/h south-easterly later

I have never looked at that before, and doubt I will again.

Don't know if anyone has mentioned Run Pee yet.

An app that tells you the best time to nip to the loo during a film.

It tells you when the dullest moments are and what leads up to them. There is even a timer you can set to alert you.

The app also tells you how long the window is and provides a summary of what you are missing.

And its free!

Good tip. Loving it.

Paddy Power app out now to make mobile betting easier finally!

It looks good, expect all the others to follow suit now!

First thing it does is to verify your current location tho so it will not be working abroad for legal reasons

PP giving you a free £5 bet as well when you place the first bet as £10

Finbar 26-08-2010 09:34 AM

Mobile betting couldn't be easier!!

Get a Betfair account
Get iBetMate app
Done!

I have the Ladbrokes app which is pretty good, unlike their prices most of the time (outside of football for which they seem pretty good)

Will get the PP one though as have an account with them and their normal mobile site is horrific, though will mainly be on Betfair

Racing Post one is great if you've not got it

I dont use betfair - I only place fixed odds bets and they take a % of winnings which I dont like so I stick to the usual boys.

Cheers for the post heads up, not often on the horses mainly just golf every week but will take a look as I use it when I am on the nags (normally just wait for you, Gooders, Godders or Jam to post up the selections and copy!!!)

Don't ever listen to me on the horses, I know next to nothing! Tend to only get involved during festivals where the app is great to see the runners / riders / colours.

Probably for another thread but if you bet on golf you are mad not to consider Betfair, especially for outsiders, just deduct 5% from the price and you'll find it's still better more often than not. If you don't want an account with them then open one with Betchronicle who base their prices on the exchanges so are often bigger as proved here http://odds.bestbetting.com/golf/the-barclays/winner/. It's the one thing you can do to level the playing field with the bookies. Anyway I'll be quiet now and leave this to get back on topic :p

Dont think you can bet e/w on betfair can you - I dont remeber being able to and that is pretty critical with golf betting as the field is so big

Official Football League app, which can be personalised to become an official Palace app. Not had much of a look yet. Can upgrade for £4.99 for highlights and shit.

Sky Sports News isn't bad, and includes Sky Sports News Radio.

All Sega games are cheap until midnight tonight. Some classics there.

ESPN Goals, NME, Wallpaper, miCoach, TuneIn Radio, Gazzetta TV, la Gazzetta dello Sport, & Hipstamatic have been acquired recently; all pretty decent.

EagleSE24 31-08-2010 09:31 PM

Dowloaded the new angry birds update but all the new levels are locked...

Adlerhorst 31-08-2010 09:44 PM

Not all Sega games are cheap today.

richdeniro 31-08-2010 11:02 PM

Fonejacker app is hilarious.

bradpitt 01-09-2010 08:17 AM

Get Fragger, it's a bit like Angry Birds but better

Blind_Eagle 01-09-2010 08:59 AM

Teamviewer is utterly brilliant for remote access to a pc.

I was sitting remotely watching the CCTV screens in our shop units on my iphone. Nuts.

I just tried the free version.

1. Very very easy
2. Not better than Angry Birds

Shall not be paying for the full version.

Correction, it is better than utterly brilliant.

Complete remote control of a pc from your iPhone with no need for any technical knowledge. Amazing.

Flappy Chicken 02-09-2010 01:17 AM
