And weve been told today that our company which was expanding into Europe is setting up an Eu located entity to manage the business. That would have been run out of the UK - still its good we are giving employment opportunities to others

We'll see a lot of that - it always felt like the EU was negotiating with a rather clearer eye on trying to make Brexit the least harmful it could be for EU countries - the British seemed a bit trapped by ideology. It was a weird reversal of the history of EU / UK relations, in a way.

Brexiters have conspicuously dropped off of this thread as the true nature of the shit show has become apparent.

They also seem split over relations with Turkey even before Sofa gate. China relations are like Russia confirming China one minute, doing trade deals the next. If the EU really want to be a serious player in a global scale they need a one face to the world policy otherwise no major country will take them seriously.

Malarkey popped in for a wave. Apparently people's livelihoods and mental health only matter when it also concerns him being able to go to the pub.

Admittedly there is some rounding in these figures.
I wasn't disagreeing with him but it does show how easily the media can spin the news by cherry picking the stats.

The epitome of trolling - post something controversial to generate a reaction and then disappear.

Very much so. Britain was usually perceived as the practical, trade savvy one at the table in Brussels.

Leave has utterly reversed. Leave does indeed mean leave as in we have taken leave of our senses

UK lawyers and civil servants were also entrusted with drafting and steering through huge amounts of EU legislation, reflecting the regard they were held in. All thrown away.
