Might have costs DQS a podium at the Giro too. Ineos do at least have strength that they might be able to protect 2 riders but even that gives then a conundrum.

Velogames for TdF will be a nightmare this year looking at who is likely to line up for each team.

TBF it's a nightmare even before those considerations!

I don't think Rui Costa should've had that taken away from him. The danish kid was a bit too eager to 'tell teacher' as well.

It's a close one. Kron didn't have to stop pedalling but he was still made to go the long way round. The rules are clear. Sprint in a straight line. Costa went right across the road. If Kron had stopped pedalling, it would have been easier for the commissaires to disqualify Costa! Correct deciqsion IMO but still a close call.
PS: Do you have Costa in your team? Just asking, like ...

Up the hill and down the other side. This looks too tough for the specialists like Bissegger and Küng.
So how about Dennis, Alaphilippe, Hirschi and Carapaz to battle it out for the podium places?

Think it will favour someone used to challenging for the one-day races or serial breakaways rather than someone who's focus is consistent GC ambitions - it would be different if it was down a hill, then up again.

I don't have him. It wasn't a proper sprint stage finish also the 'straight line' was not following Rui Costa's meandering across the road, which was curving about itself. He still had a gap anyway.
