Frosty ain't happy that the NI protocol that he negotiated is working well for Ireland. Trade & exports are thriving unlike the rest of the UK

A 2 speed economic situation has emerged

Suggested that Irish businesses were incentivised to collaborate North - South rather than NI - RUk inevitably weakening the Union

Ireland will inevitably unify, Scotland wants independence to join the EU too, London would also do well to exit the rotting tory carcass that is Brexit Britain and become a full EU member again.

His hero, Churchill, saved the UK, Johnson has broken it. He and his corrupt cronies should be on trial

Thanks for the congratulations Worksop minor. I was only trying to assist and in my head was thinking about Tenby (god knows why.)

Was listening to an FT exec yesterday on radio 4. They encourage their journalists to be on social media but to avoid highly partisan subjects. I think that applies to me and this thread.
As an alternative, did I see that an arts prize has just been awarded to a group who recreated a pub as a forum where any subject or viewpoint can be discussed in an atmosphere that is combative but friendly.
As far as brexit is concerned, I'm off to find it

US will delay removing its tariffs on steel and aluminium because of concerns over the NI protocol

Is that a brexit win?....nope, thought not

We are now seeing the benefits of escaping the creeping "Big State" chains of the EU

Austria, Greece & now Germany are introducing compulsory Corona Virus vaccinations.

Now the threat coming from the power made EU un elected president is EU wide compulsory vaccinations.

The EU countries are reaping their reward for totaly false and political campaigns against the AZ vaccine which not only caused delay in the roll out of an EU vaccination campaign, but the confusion over vaccine possible side effects has created the EU wide slow vaccine update.

While I am 100% behind everybody who is able to be vaccinated having their jabs not just for their own protection but to also protect other family members and wider society. But it's down to governments to persuade people to take the vaccine not bully them with threats of huge fines or prison. If the EU are allowed to get away with this then it's on the sloppy slope to a totalitarian super state.

On the lighter side I read that in Germany "End of Life" offering companies will not allow people who wish to end their lives into their offices to discuss end of life plans unless they have a Covid Passport !

Just to be clear, you’re saying that individual countries within the EU making their own sovereign choices about what they require of their citizens proves how right we were to leave so that we could make our own sovereign choices about what to require from our citizens?

We most certainly are not seeing anything of the sort. What we are seeing is you posting like a total penis which is not surprising but your self delusion is running out of control.
Vaccination policy is mandated by individual states not the EU.

I still look at the UK when they were in the EU as the wild card, do the feck what we wanted, go the feck where we wanted, in the top three, so bugger all anyone could do.

Everyone had to speak English which pissed the french off to no end()Germans raised their eyebrows but liked us better than the french.

The UK also had a finger in every pie and with the primary decision making over all the minnows(french included).

It was a very good gig fu-cked up royally by Brexit.

Brexit delays and disruption mean fewer Britons will be able to participate in potentially life- saving research trials

Sounds like the Tories have thrown another protective ring (of death) around care homes
