Both teams have quite a few average players. Unfortunately Man U have a couple of special ones.

I'm leaning towards yes it was, based on Arse player being clumsy.

The thing is your right . Its a hard one to call that could go either way . The ref didnt give it on the pitch , the ref in VAR did . (as soon as the ref is asked to look at the monitor we all know the outcome )

The ref is losing his authority on the pitch as it wasnt a clear and obvious mistake but a different view .

Most of the midfield pretty awful too. On what Iíve seen of them recently Saka, Smith Rowe and Martinelli could all play for a Champions League team, but the rest are below that level. Thomas Party is the one that sticks out for me, he seemed to be lauded as their saviour when they signed him, but doesnít seem to be able to keep up with the pace of the league.

I appreciate Nketiah was not on that long, but I've never really seen anything to make me say, I wish this guy was at Palace...

Mind you I said the same about Gallagher.

Agree on Partey, always seems to be coming back from an injury. I think ESR is brilliant and the other two you mentioned can be.

Tierney is good too.

The ref did say no pen. The VAR got involved. For it to get involved the error has to be clear and obvious. Whichever way the ref gives that, the possible mistake is not clear and obvious.

Yep

Because he knew var would sort it out

Waiting for var officials to Google what he should do

The ref may have thought the ball was played in real time and thatís why he didnít give it. He then looked at the screen and realised the ball wasnít won and so have it.
