I do think that if the UK was in recession it would be mentioned a few times on the news and in the papers don't you? Maybe you are thick too?

Of maybe you were having a dig at those that think Brexit will lead to a worsening of the economic climate in the UK? In which case you should have added "as a result of Brexit?" to the end of your question. However that would have been equally thick if it was a real question and really rather pathetic as a dig as it exposes your ignorance of the Brexit process.

0/10 please try harder

No Les will not tell you off....Silly.

I do not believe you should generalise about millions of people if its race related or calling people racist because they voted Brexit.

Don't know saying millions of people are all like "that" sounds wrong whoever you are directing it at.

That's not saying that there are no racists in the leave vote as there are as in any walks of life.

Some of you use racism as point scoring demeaning the word,by all means point out racists but my opinion that the majority of people that voted leave are not racist stands .

*We have given Stan chances and now he has gone past last chance hotel, when I talk about one sided debates its the people that decide its not worth debating on here with the abuse ,again why should they and I am not talking about racists, just because you lean more to the middle to right does not make you a racist.

(*Les Butler Mod,all the rest poster opinion.)

Problem is, Stan the Man is only applauding something that might just as easily have been said by Farage, like feeling uneasy about hearing foreign voices on a train.

His own prejudice, though hate crime, has been legitimised by someone who is still being taken seriously enough to be given yet more airtime by the BBC this morning.

On the other hand, maybe the BBS should take the lead in fighting this sort of shit by banning the ****.

The EU is a German funded project that enables France to magnify its global influence? Or that was what they said until enlargement. The problem now from my back of fag packet analysis is that achieving any growth in Europe relies on QE. I've read that Ä2.6tr in 4 and a half years achieved 2.8% growth. That requires frighteningly low rates and damage to Dutch, German and Finnish savers. In the next recession Europe will be defenceless unless Germany turns on the spending taps and Britain will be badly caught up in it whether we like it or not.

The idea that you take the piss out of gays, or bi people, or the French, or the polish is abhorrent to the majority of them. They arenít afraid of brown people or muslims. Will my generation grow into people afraid of immigrants? Fat chance. We grew up frowning when our parents generation said Ďpakií. So the idea that we will replace the boomers is silly.

The baby boomers time is naturally coming to a conclusion. Generation x (at least the last half), y, millennials and post millennials will take control and with it bring more tolerance. We may not ever join the Eu fully but we will certainly grow close to it again, our generation and below want FOM, and donít care about sharing sovereignty.

That is unless brexit is a massive success before the baby boomers lose control (s******).
A bit unfair as not all oldies were bad. Many of us fought racism and sectarianism at considerable risk. Similarly today, there are good and bad and still plenty of problems with prejudice. It's just that prejudice is more multi faceted these days because we are more of a diverse community.

Keep waving your Union Jack and it might just all go away.

Even now we are out, it's of course always they who are causing us all our problem. Bloody non-British people (who are not coming over here and not ruling us as we have our sovereignty back apparently.)

Read a decent newspaper.

I don't have a Union Jack and I'm not sure what you're implying. "They" are not causing all our problems and we are not causing all theirs. We will however still be neighbours and heavily influence each other. A Eurozone recession would create a British recession and probably a British recession would cause one in Europe. Next time there is a recession (probably before the next election) then the Eurozone, UK and the Scandinavians will all need both fiscal and monetary policy to avoid very serious social consequences.

Boris Johnson is "privately infuriated" with what he sees as an EU attempt to "frustrate" a free-trade deal, the Sunday Telegraph reports. The paper says the PM believes Brussels "has unilaterally been 'changing the terms'" of an agreement last year to aim for a deep and comprehensive trade deal. It comes after Britain officially left the bloc on Friday night and as Mr Johnson prepares to begin negotiations over the UK's future relationship with the EU.

I know. Itís the Telegraph. Maybe that should be enough said but I still want that ĒhopeĒ
