And as farming in the UK also approaches 'crisis point' and "urges action" one pig farm in Suffolf is losing 3k a week

Meanwhile down in Cornwall some are turning to drink and losing everything after 99% of their business was lost overnight on 1.1.2021 after the ....get this....the EU "unacceptably" changed their rules (says the UK government) and the fisherman says the EU 'slammed the door' in their face. The delusion is strong in this one.

The truth is ofcourse the rules on cleaning shellfish (from sewage affected water to prevent ecoli from fish outside the SM I.e. 3rd countries) have been in place for atleast 10 years and the UK opted for this brexit relationship seemingly without reading the contract.

The chances of the EU fisheries commission listening to the UK now we have no representatation on that committee are nil, and even when we paid for someone (Nigel Farage) to represent us, he didn't turn up.

Apparently the fishermen "don't know where to go, what to do or how to pay their bills" ....why can't they cook some sovereignty for their families to all enjoy at meal times like all the other sectors equally damaged by this?

If out of every ten of these farmers, 7 of them still blame the EU, 3 of them will blame the Tories and Brexit. The thing about Brexit is that - if noone perceives that they gain from it, and a reasonable amount perceive that they lose from it, it will be a failure. Brexit will be the big story again from the second half of this year on as the consequences are hammered home

EU producers have never had it so good, and similar to when they hijacked the England world cup song "it's coming home" they are humming the catchphrase "take back control"
Love it, hope the gammons are taking back control lol

Were you angry when you typed the word gammon, RE? I ask because a certain arrogant snide is currently trying 'the I'm not a gammon, you're a gammon' deflection and is convinced that rabid left wing types are cultivating liver spots and going bright pink as they rail against brexit.
It sounds to me like you're perfectly relaxed, but I'd like to be sure. Once this childish "that's what you are, what am I?" dies a death I imagine the next stage is to take ownership of the phrase.

"WE'RE GAMMON & PROUD. WE WON, GET OVER IT" etc.

He was looking forward to masticating on delicious bwitish herring, wasn't he? Those fishermen need to come off the pop and cast their nets wide (in the permitted zone). The crops won't pick themselves.

I like the idea that if an Ulster farmer brings over a bull to sell in the UK and it fails to sell then the bull has to reside here for 6 months before it can be transported back.

Was Priti Patel aware of this loophole in her immigration plans.
