Need to get Priti Patel on the case. At least Denying these people entry on spurious grounds would get public support

I know 2 people who live(d) out in in Spain

One a friend in Benidorm (under the radar) reckons the majority of Brits were doing the same like her under the radar – she came back a couple of weeks ago. Also says most are pro Brexit. All are VERY unhappy that the Spanish life is over(or about to be). The other is fully integrated in Spain and is delighted at some of the Brits who have had to leave (generally unpleasant jingoistic drunks as she puts it who have never bothered to try to integrate) although she feels sorry for us having to take them back

Personally, I've always loved going out to that part of the World and it was in our minds, to maybe retire out there, one day.
Oh well !
My brother in law is a no deal type leaver who planned to retire to Spain. He was adamant that it wouldn't be affected despite my insistence that it definitely would

Simple. Illegal immigrants are foreigners trying to get into the UK. Because of the empire and ww2 a Brit isn't illegal anywhere.

Hope these tossers who sold up can't afford a house here, or have to cash in their whole pension with tax payments to fund it. Mugs.

Can anyone explain what was in the deal Boris triumphantly announced

With the latest news that small exporters to the EU have across the board virtually given up, that large exporters are opening up companies and warehouses in the EU, the fisheries is dead in the water, no deal on financial services, no deal on expats, goodbye Erasmus, security, extradition – did we actually get anything?

It'll be like the entire population of Royston Vasey washing up on our shores. I'll be down at Camber, pushing them back into the sea with a garden fork.

F*cked Swissroll, we got f*cked.

It was the most shockingly poor debate in modern British political history, largely defined and led by independently wealthy individuals encouraging the worst elements of Nationalist sentiment, with no regard for actual consequence, and minimalist preparation for reality.

Essentially the argument was two side shouting loudly, and absolutely zero attempt at debate, in a discourse rapidly taken over by popularist and chancers.

Briefly, before the Conservative party made it harder to challenge government decisions and effectively curtailed protest.

A generation of when-we's who'll spend the rest of their life banging on nostalgically about their time in Spain, and how sh1t Britain is, and how the EU f**ked them over.

And instead of a trade deal with the USA we are about to have a trade war (note the USA backed down on the EU for doing what we want to do on tech taxes)

This is not about Brexit. The EU don’t have a digital tax (because some member states want no part of it) so the US cannot take action against the whole block. They can, will and are taking action against member states individually.

The only thing the US have done recently is agree that Trump’s safe harbour thing was idiotic, but again that’s an OECD level negotiation, not an EU/Brexit thing.

Nothing new here to be honest. A huge number of ex pats have kept a UK address normally a family member to avoid being deregistered from their GP's register in order that they can return for medical treatment. This has been going on for years and would still be going on even if we had remained in the EU.
