You know that they will use this game as evidence as to why no crowds should ever be allowed at a Palace Brighton game. no disorder, no trouble in the town, no arrests etc.

Hopefully it'll stay at a reasonable time and be on Sky or BBC.
If it is 8PM then you could get kicked out of the pub during extra time.

Premier League clubs in talks for season ticket holders to access matches -
To view the link you have to Register or Login

Premier League clubs are considering ways of letting season ticket holders access matches not due to be broadcast live on television following the Government's decision to scrap the idea of letting fans back into stadiums at the beginning of next month.

Similar discussions took place before the Premier League decided to make all of September's fixtures available for broadcast by its partners in the UK.

It is understood substantive talks between the Premier League executive and the 20 clubs are yet to take place over how to proceed given Prime Minister Boris Johnson suggested it could be up to six months before fans were allowed into stadiums.

The Premier League believes it is capable of hosting matches in front of socially-distanced crowds now but realises it is not an argument they can win in the short term, even if their lobbying of Government will continue.

However, the clubs are wary about repeating last season's policy of letting every match be shown live on TV as it dilutes the product to rights holders.

There is also the continuing financial burden of having no fans in stadiums for an extended period.

The clubs feel making all matches available to season ticket holders is a way round this problem, although there is no guarantee the idea will be adopted.

Football League clubs are using the iFollow service to stream its matches that are not shown on Sky TV.

So if they make non-TV games available to season ticket holders will they be free? Or will Palace say that is what your season ticket payment was for!

Was thinking of having a few beers in Putney for the Fulham game. Saturday 3pm would be handy

A lot of fans might not be bothered watching games on a I pad so doubt if they could charge fans automatically many will be able to watch games one way or enougher for free anyway nowadays .should imagine sky bt bbc would be interested in showing these games suppose it comes down to if they will pay what clubs want .

What about supporters of clubs that haven't sold season tickets this season?

The Chelsea game in now a 12:30 kick off on BT Sport.

All 10 games that weekend will be on either Sky or BT. Games beyond the October international break have not been announced yet.

Another thing to note is that midweek games will kick off at 17:45 and 20:00 due to the new restriction on pubs closing times.

I think they will put all games on TV for the remainder of the season or until some form of crowd can be back in stadiums. They have to, what’s the point of playing a 3pm in an empty stadium and it not being on TV.

Agreed though isn't that simple - the premier league wont want to be too hasty incase fans can return plus also BT Sport, Sky and Amazon already have committed their money and will be unlikely to pay out more, much to PLs annoyance.

Hopefully, this moves us more towards a centralised PL Channel akin to NFL Game Pass at a reduced cost that can be spread globally and dare I say it, bring more money into the game rather than broadcasters scrapping over fixtures that are then played at obscure times to maximise audiences with little consideration to fans

Tbh I’m struggling to keep up with what game is on what tv station atm.

I
Note the Chelsea home game on sat morning is on bt sports. Are season ticket holders getting free passes again to watch? Otherwise what are my options to watch at home ? DoBT provide a similar pay as you go service such as now tv and sky?

They do a monthly pass for £25 a month. That is all I could find, nothing like the £9.99 for a 24 hour now tv pass.

I agree it's becoming really difficult to keep up. And the announcements are so late. When do we find out the games for the rest of October?

The BT season ticket passes were only for home fans and only for the end of last season.

The current TV arrangements are only in place until this weekend. There were reports last week that the additional TV games could be streamed by the clubs instead of being shown by the broadcasters.

I don't think we will find out anything until Friday at the earliest and more likely next week.

Most games on ESPN thus far. Except the late game of a weekend as it probably clashes with when Barcelona, Real Madrid or someone like Inter are playing.

5 quid a week my cable.

If the game has two very unfancied teams it may well not make the ESPN cut, either.
