Ian Wright off the bench in the first 1990 Cup Final.

More recently Cabaye v Arsenal at selhurst.

Clyne v United in the cup a few years ago.

Delaney v Chelsea at the Bridge.

Salako double at Highbury in early 90s.

Barry Bannan in a cup cup, can't remember which. But recall being amazed that performance didn't merit being in the 1st team next league match

On reflection, I would have to agree with this.

Of the games I saw anyway (albeit on TV).

What was that game in the early 80s which we won with 9 men?

Anyway Vince Hilaire in that game.

Great shout. Vs Middlesbrough.

Mabbutt & Gilbert both sent off in the 1st half, Gilbert for complaining about Mabbutt's red card. Even though Gilbert got sent off after Mabbs, he left the pitch ahead of him

2nd half plan is clearly 'just give it to Vince & see if he can grab us a breather'.

2nd half pen, won by Vince, scored by Peter Nic.

In the autumn of the 2012/2013 season some of Wilf's performances were ridiculously good - Burnley (h), Blackburn (h), Wolves (a)

Delaney v Chelsea away was the best performance since we've been in the top flight again, although Sakho v West Brom away in 16/17 deserves a mention

Sakho v West Brom away
Delaney v Chelsea away

David Whyte (RIP) at Chelsea away. How we only drew that game 1-1 that day I will never know. He was electric.

Trying to think of some more recent ones, at least ones that aren't Wilf, and some by less renowned players who don't seem to get much of a mention.

Riedewald springs to mind in the 0 - 0 draw against City a couple of years ago, which we would have won if Luka had stuck the penalty away.

A few others Peter Taylor away at Southend won 1 0 with Chatterton scoring. A well remembered Friday night game.

Don Rogers for a second half performance in midfield v West Brom away won 4 0 goals from Possee and Whittle.
