Anyone know anything about these?

Not sure if it's my parking but I often scuff my wheels on curbs. Are these things any good to stop it?

I’m only looking on my phone, but it’s very hard to see what the final look will be. Scuffed wheels might look better!

It's just a thin line of plastic round the edge of the alloy. If you picked a neutral colour I wouldn't think it would be that noticeable but not sure I've seen one in person.

Yeah they're ok if you take the time to fit them well, a few guys I know use them.
Plus always reverse into a parking space as it's normally the front wheel you will hit with and by going back into the space it's easy to watch the back wheel gap using the wing mirror.

It's a shiny thing on the side of the car that you can peer into to tidy up your hair.

A side-view mirror (or side mirror), also known as a wing mirror, is a mirror placed on the exterior of motor vehicles for the purposes of helping the driver see areas behind and to the sides of the vehicle, outside the driver's peripheral vision (in the "blind spot").

Maybe your donkey needs one?

My comment was obviously tongue in cheek.
Some drivers don't even know what a fkn rearview mirror is.
And as for the sensors that start beeping when your car is 10 feet away from another!!
And yes my donkey has both wing mirrors thankyou very much

They were fitted to my TVR when I bought it; not sure if they work as i took them off straight away. they stick out from the wheel/tyre a bit and look a bit naff. I suppose they might protect your wheel if you just brushed the kerb but may need something more substantial if your wife is driving...
