I think next season could see an unprecedented level of disorder when fans are allowed back in stadiums.

I like the fans power movement though. We are a very very lucky club to have decent owners. They don’t get it right all the time but the future of the club is their concern

By my reckoning, there are 87 clubs in the football league who have never won a European Cup/Champions League. I'm not seeing fans of Rochdale or Shrewsbury or Everton or Gillingham or Burnley or Port Vale or Swansea or Preston or Stoke behaving like this because they won't win the Champions League this season.

It's great to see Man Utd fans upset. **** them.
One of the wealthiest clubs in the World but still hundreds of millions in debt while the Glaziers fleece the club. The ground has been neglected for years and is falling into disrepair. Now the Glaziers demand Billions to sell.

If the fans at the very top of the game are powerless then what chance do the likes of us have?!

Football is rotten to the core at the moment, clubs going bust, ESL, VAR, country's owning our clubs.
Man Utd v Liverpool is one of the biggest games in world football, the title could have been decided today. This was a massive statement which we couldn't make, UTD fans have stepped up to the mark today, I really hope this is the start of a revolution.

Maybe fans of the other 87 clubs you mention should take action. In fact, I would actively encourage them to follow the lead of the wankers and go and smash up the Theatre of Wankers

I feel dirty that it was the Wankers fans who managed to get a live Sky game called off.

The HF are going to have to up their game.

So they’ve just realised Man Utd is a plastic debt ridden excuse of a football club?

The actions of these 200+ fans had little to do with that... just a bunch of pissed up northerner being arseholes from what I can see.

Oooo HH you don't often put your head above the parapet.

A comment like that from as far away as the expat hills of California. I'd get that tin hat on if I were you.

At least stick a flag up above the trench line first, and see how the land lies.

WTF has this got to do with protesting the owners? Making yourself look like a drunken prick is more like it.

And yes, it reminded me of the Washington Capitol insurgence.
Reminded me of Shameless.

Protests will inevitably have a minority committing wanton acts of violence. Those with a vested interest in crushing protests inevitably seize on the tiny % acts of violence, amplify them and condemn the whole protest as characterised by "rioters".

Hello Hong Kong, Myanmar, Indian farmers and countless protests in the UK, including this one. Do not be hoodwinked into believing this narrative which is what the Premier League, clubs, and a lot of the media want you to think.

The comparison to the capitol insurrection is bunkum. A bunch of mostly monied, middle-class, deranged white supremacist cultists murdering people and attempting to murder elected officials because their cult leader sold them a lie having got legitimately spanked in the presidential election is hardly the same as a bunch of mostly working-class, regular people angry about their sense of powerlessness in the face of selfish moneymen destroying a foundation of their community.

Condemn the violence for sure but don't side with those destroying football in doing so.

Protest the owners is the right thing to do, but not because they are starved of success. That just makes me think what a bunch of spoilt pricks they are
It was a police officer that required emergency medical treatment. Horrendous injury

It is possible to hate Man Utd and completely back those protestors today. When will people understand that we are not going to get our game back unless fans organise and kick up a fuss. It will not happen otherwise.

United fans who actually go to games are regularly screwed over. When they buy a season ticket they are obliged to buy a ticket to every cup game at OT on top of that. Their stadium is crumbling. Their ticket prices are high. None of these things are their fault, their owners just hate them. It’d be much more lucrative for the owners to have tourists buying one off tickets every week and buying merchandise.

Until more things like this happen those fans will never get any change. Never forget how lucky we are to have someone who cares about our club running it. Look at Hull, look at Nottingham Forest, look at Sheffield Wednesday, look at Bury. Clubs that have had bad owners inevitably lead to bad outcomes and fans need to get their voices heard more.

So *holds nose* well done Man Utd fans.
