So sad, I loved the stuff he did when he was in Fleetwood Mac. One of my favourites was the Green Manalishi, you don't often hear that one. A very talented man.

He was unique, and something of a genius. Very sad news.

Saw him playing with John Mayall at the Bath Festival in 1970. Delayed start meant they played at some ungodly hour early morning. Bit of a haze.

Thanks for highlighting Green Manalishi, always brings back memories of the last term at university, forever hearing it. We didn't know then that it would be his last record with FM.

I always loved the fact that the 'B' side of Man of the World, which is such a beautiful and sad song, was Somebody's Gonna Get Their Head Kicked in Tonite.

At the time always my go to record on the jukebox although admittedly one to avoid on a Saturday night.

Never saw him in Fleetwood Mac, but caught him at the Fairfield Hall with the Splinter Group in about 2002. I remember absolutely nothing about the show, other than that he turned up!

Fond memories of Black Magic Woman from my youth which has nothing to do with the fact it was a great record. Loved the Peter Green era of Fleetwood Mac. RIP

I used to go see a band called B Sharp down the Gun tavern that did a great cover of this. Jerry Stevens I think the guitarist was called.
