Yes but the sentiment hasn’t gone away from those who identify as Remain. It’s a political grouping, those who are internationalist not nationalist, who think Brexit is a disaster and Independence would also be, who want a closer relationship with Europe and for political reform in the U.K. to make it work better. The people who genuinely do think we’re better together, whether that’s European allies or the UK.

There’s a market for Labour there, but they need to know that’s their market and pitch to it.

Sturgeon gone in hard quickly on Salmond.

Speaking on the campaign trail on Saturday, Ms Sturgeon said: "I take no pleasure whatsoever in saying this but I think there are significant questions about the appropriateness of his return to public office given the concerns that have been raised about his behaviour previously but that's for voters to judge and decide.

Going to be unbelievably vicious. Much better than when Chris Huhne described his leadership election opponent as ‘Calamity Clegg’.

I do not want to make this political but

It is not my job to tell Boris Johnson what to do but

Good observation. Classic abusers technique where someone puts someone else down while coming across as reasonable. I think this is what irritates me most about the SNP; they project themselves as being on this moral high ground, so much better than the heathens down south, but you don’t have to scratch the surface much to realise they are just the same self serving, power obsessed politicians as many in Westminster.

Quite long but interesting . Near the end Sturgeon did not agree with a report that Marr quoted ref effects of Scottish Independence , she said it was too narrow . Marr pointed out it was exactly the same model from the same economist that Sturgeon was praising during Brexit . She also said they had done no analysis on effect on the Standard of living on people if Scotland vote was for independence ( said too early to do that yet ) . Also struggled when quizzed on hard border with England as they would be dealing with a non EU country .

Well we now know exactly what a hard border looks like so that analysis should not take long. Hopefully she doesn’t follow Boris and start denying the reality of a hard border.

Looks like the Scottish salmon industry will be in trouble shortly.

Land based Salmon farms using tanks mean no anti-biotics and pesticides. You can almost see the legislation on standards coming.

Great response from the community and Nicola Sturgeon. Starmer would never respond like that.

Looking forward to seeing how cockneyrebel next crowbars abusing Starmer into another random news event.

‘Great tactics by Klopp to go for United and knock four past them. If that was Starmer he would’ve been more defensive, played solely through the middle with no character to their play.’

Just wait until he discovers that Starmer has suspended another of his brethren for racism related to the random news event that he crowbarred Starmer abuse into.

It’s not random at all. Immigration is a huge issue and there is no way Starmer would something remotely as progressive.

Fair play to Sturgeon who is one of the only mainstream leaders who would.

Scottish Government officials breached Freedom of Information legislation by attempting to claim the final report of the investigation of harassment complaints against Alex Salmond did not exist, it can be revealed.
