He explains Bitcoin innovation well up to the point about scaling. However he doesn't take into account that using second layer solutions i.e Lightning Network, Bitcoin can easily scale up to transactions speeds of legacy transaction operators such as Visa. Then of course he goes on to criticise the bitcoin energy use which is complete bollocks when you consider the usefulness of bitcoin. In any case Bitcoin's energy consumption is increasingly green - utilising power from renewables when there's a lack of demand from other consumers. This is proving to incentivise the build-out of new renewable energy which is a net-benefit for the environment.
