Keeping a teams head above water was all he did at Bournemouth so why would the palace job be any different? , itís in his wheel house where as celtic is a different kettle of fish , put it this way the death threats and what have you will pale in comparison to what heíll get if he/the team underperform under him at Celtic

Dear Montyburns76,

Perhaps, maybe etc etc, after spending seasons keeping little Bournemouth's "Head above the water" a chance to take charge of a big club before large crowds, challenging at the top end of the table with a chance of "Europe" is very appealing and tempting.

My dear Ian J,

Yes Sir, this could come to pass, but should he be successful in Scotland this could lead to a top job in the Premier League.Should he keep our "Heads above water" he might not be seen in the same "Light" by our top clubs. In life often one has to back one's ability should a prime opportunity present itself. There are dangers and pitfalls but football management is littered with them.
Ruddy having to now go out with my good lady wife to a garden centre.

Which is a totally different point to the one you quoted.

Footballing reasons i can see Celtic being more attractive in some ways.

My point was about family reasons which you ignored.

Yep we will see how many of these 'record sales' will be turning up on a Tuesday night in November

Going by the Arthur Wait the couple of seasons not that many.

Syllable wise - you could be onto something, as it works.

Perhaps your good self has underestimated what Howe think he can achieve at Palace. Maybe he thinks he can do far more than just keep our ďheads above waterĒ and enhance his reputation?

Iím sure the salary we can offer him is far in excess of anything Celtic can offer him and probably double.

As far as I know, Howe hasn't been offered the job of Palace manager. So nobody can object to him becoming the manager of Celtic, if he is offered that job.

Still feel if Zaha was injured long term , with our current squad , we would struggle to stay up . If he does leave in Summer , we have to get players with pace and can change a game .

I think the problem for Howe is, if he fails at Celtic he will struggle to get a job at Palace in the future. If he fails at Palace the Celtic job would probably still be attainable.

Really don't want Howe. Would much rather Dyche or Wilder if he stayed with an English option but the prospect of Fonseca is even more tantilising.

I think Howe to Celtic is just made up noise north of the border.

Reading press reports in Scotland and their message boards , it does sound that have had talks . I believe Celtic are in process of changing Chairman . Also sounds like Howe wants to bring in his DOF , Richard Hughes which is an issue at moment . Howe has also apparently said that he wants the whole of this season off .

Why Wilder?

In his final 38 games, a full PL season he won just 7, and drew 3 a total of 24 points I think.

In wilders defence he didnít exactly have a team full of international players at his disposal so much like dyche managing palace it would be a step up compared to what they have/had
