Ainsley Maitland-Niles
Arsenal are in complete disarray. They probably would sell to fund some big name transfers - AMN is evidently not fully trusted by Arteta. Would be great for us: right back cover, right wing cover and can play centre mid. If we are interested that is.

I don't know if he fancies playing for relegation strugglers.....so that gives us a chance of getting him

If I was AMN I would not entertain any kind of move away from Arsenal for the forseeable future - the manager is under pressure and might not last much longer.

Agree . Think AWN will be there a bit longer than Arteta.

Would prefer Joe Willock for a bit of central midfield creativity.

Good. I’d take Arteta in a heartbeat, and for that to happen Arsenal need to lose patience and sack him.

It's only what I think. Unlike a lot on here my opinion does not mean it will happen.

There’s nothing wrong with AMN. I’d just prefer Arteta for a long term Hodgson replacement.

I think we need a specialist couple of cm's as a matter of urgency, not a utility player

Why would you take him? If he's got arsenal on the brink of the drop zone we'd be rock bottom

I'd be interested in him more now Schlupp is sidelined for 3 months. Could cover both wide midfield positions and can play centrally and at full back. Would be ideal to have on loan and I've read they're interested in loaning him out, however if Atletico Madrid (or other bigger clubs than us) come after him as rumoured then it'd be doubtful unless he wants to stay in England

I imagine he wants to stay at Arsenal.

23 and started 4 games in the EPL this season. Reported in Daily Mail and The Athletic that he's frustrated at lack of game time. Don't think a loan would be out of the question at all

I'm kind of split on this, developing Arsenals players should not be our long term goal however Schlupp is out for a while and he could provide cover.
Clubs (inc. us) are going to struggle financially over the next year, so we have two options IMO i) loan players and plug gaps or ii) look for bargains and snaffle players off other teams, to develop into our own. There is a iii) which would be a combo of both. With some big earners looking to exit at the end of the season i think we have enough of a base to by 1-2 first teamers and then look to supplement with some bargains from around the globe and take a chance.

Very good player and would improve us immensely. He was superb at the end of last season and started in the cup final putting in a great performance. From that he was promised more game time by Arteta as Wolves were close to signing him but he decided to stay off the back of Arteta’s promise. It hasn’t materialised.

Only if permanent transfer option agreed. There are some players I’d like on loan who would just be happy to have here, like Greenwood who isn’t getting much playing time at Man Utd. AMN doesn’t fall into that category, as I think there’s a serious chance we could buy him and I wouldn’t want the fee to go up if he were to come and do well here.
