Andy Johnson very briefly returned but I think it was limited to a single League Cup appearance. It was still good to see him back in a Palace shirt though.

Terry Venables
Alan Smith
Peter Taylor
Only romance in the Venables one was Goldberg's 'When a Man Loves a Woman' rendition.

Two that spring to mind that nearly happened but sadly didn’t were Dave Swindlehurst and Ian Wright.

Very few were successful...

Morrison, Zaha and Coppell...any more?

Hopkin's hand ball and punt upfield, I suppose.

Clint Hill was a massive favourite of mine and It was a sad day when he came back a few months after leaving in a QPR shirt

Can't believe no-one has said Nigel Martyn. The fella saved a last minute Bruce Dyer penalty to prevent us from winning & was still given a standing ovation from the pitch.

He didn't return to Palace but he did return to Selhurst - see also Clint Hill, above.

This thread should only include players or managers who return as employees (as with the MOTD programme).
